METALKOTE POLYURETHANE TOP COAT PUT-603 is a two component PU finish coat for all types of steel construction and steel components in rural industrial atmosphere with high humidity and air pollution.

Application Procedures :
Surface Preparation
- Clean the surface of substrate from rust, oil and other contaminant.
- In case of new steel, abrasive sand blasting to minimum Sa 2½ in accordance with the SWEDISH STANDARD SIS 05 59 00 and ISO 8501 – 1 : 1988 or SSPC – SP – 10 by using suitable primer coat, METALKOTE EPOXY PRIMER EDP-551.
Application Process
- Stir thoroughly component A METALKOTE POLYURETHANE TOP COAT PUT-603, add hardener / component B, with weight ratio 4 : 1. Then stir thoroughly
- Add thinner Polyurethane / PU MD-02 according to application requirement, then stir thoroughly.
- Do not apply this paint mixture after 4 hours.
- Apply this paint mixture METALKOTE POLYURETHANE TOP COAT PUT-603 by brush / spray / roll.
- Leave it dry minimum 6 hours, before the next step (depends on air temperature and humidity)
